Freel with a head injury?

Found this note about the Sox-Orioles game this morning and was just curious if Farney was involved somehow.

BALTIMORE THIRD BASEMAN RYAN FREEL LEFT THE GAME IN THE TOP OF THE THIRD INNING WITH A HEAD INJURY.

This is news? I've been under the impression that he was head injured for quite some time now.

Too bad guys like Freel are hurt so often.Guys with the talent that Ryan has are a dime a dozen but someone who plays that hard is difficult to come by.

Hope Ryan is okay. Always was one of my favorites (when he was out there).

Poor guy. After reading the reports he wasn't even doing anything remotely acrobatic. He was just leading off of second when a Red Sox pitcher attempted to pick him off. Ryan dove back into second base, and the ball cracked him on the side of the head.
