He used to be one of my favorite players. I'm bad at picking favorite players because my last two recently have been Jose Guillen and Wily Mo Pena, I've tried to stray away from having favorites since then as apparently I have a curse.

He was one of my favorites too. I didn't understand why we got rid of Ochoa.... he was a good hitter and good defense. He's a coach for the BoSox now fyi. haha

He's currently the organization's leader in Stolen Bases this year. (Yeah, I know I'm stretching here.)

He had a nasty push bunt to second. He needs to teach Taveras.

Pick a bad one.. Maybe they will magically get better.. Maybe its an inverse skills thing...

Watched Hopped play a few games so far this season in Louisville and I have to wonder why he has completely abandoned the bunt? He made an art-form out of it a few season ago and I have yet to see him lay one down while playing in Louisville (mind you I've only been to 3 or 4 games). Not only that but he is standing WAY back in the box making it even harder to beat out a groundball. I told my better half at the last game that the Reds should treat him like Willie Mays Hays...if he hits it in the air he owes them 10 pushups!

I think he and the organization realized that he was Norris Hopper.

wouldn't mind seeing him in the 2 hole over JHJ every few games. with tavaras on base and hopper at the plate i think some good things could happen. mcdonald has so far shown he deserves to be with the team though.

Kinda harsh to say any big leaguer isnt any good, might not be good enough, but def they are good.
