Well, they finally pulled themselves out of 30th place in team batting average.........they are up to .229 from .208 last week. Now in 29th place. It's a start.

The team pitching was 20th in mlb over the weekend, but has climbed up to 16th, with a team e.r.a. of 4.32.

Interesting stat is that the Reds lead all of mlb in throwing out runners attempting to steal with 9. In fact, they've only be stolen on 8 times and thrown out the other 9 attempts. Pretty impressive. Gotta give props to Hernandez and Hanigan.

Starters have a combined 3.74 e.r.a. (9 x 37 earned runs/89 innings pitched)
Relievers have a combined 4.60 e.r.a. (9 x 22 earned runs/43 innings pitched)
Relievers minus Burton and Lincoln have a combined 1.20 e.r.a.

Props to the pitching staff.

Take out a couple of huge games and I wonder what our ERA is?
