Well it hasn't been a long road trip so the Reds shouldn't be gassed. We SHOULD take at least 2 out of 3.

San diego has really played poorly as of late. The only threat in that line up seems to be Adrian Gonzalez. I think 2 out of 3 is not only possible, but a near certainty. Espcially since we are coming out of an off day and they played somewhere out east last night.

Anything less than 2 out of three and im going to be very dissapointed.

Lets just hope we dont see the reds of old and they play down to there competition.

Keep the intensity up boys!

Astros and Cubs have swept the Padres consecutively, now it's our turn. 9 game NL Central sweep incoming!

That's what I was thinking, i'm thinking they lose on Sunday in the Peavy Vs. Arroyo matchup, but should still get 2/3 hopefully.

Dusty leaves starter in too long...lead gone...shocker. He has a unique skill for turning a 6 innings pitched, 2 earned runs allowed performance into a 6.1 innings pitched, 4 earned runs allowed performance.

Don't blame dusty, blame Harang. He decided to bring his C game tonight, and its likely going to cost us a game against a horrible team.

Too late. Dusty has been blamed. Had a chance to PH for Harang with two men on in the 7th, and he let Harang hit, even though he had thrown 97 pitches and had been hit fairly well tonight.

Chalk this one up to Dusty. When the Reds can win despite Dusty's efforts I will believe.

I agree, but who would he have come out to hit besides Rosales? I think he told Dusty that he had enough in the tank for 1 more inning. Should have taken him out after the first hit he allowed. Not being a very good hitting team against a terrible pitching team. Here's to hoping for a come back and at least 1 win this series.

Rosales is who I was thinking he should have brought in.

Theres no way you cant blame Dusty for the lose tonight that the Reds are going to get. Why? Well lets see. Harang didnt have his best stuff tonigh, not by a long shot. But he gave Dusty 6 innings of 1 run baseball on a night when he didnt have his best stuff. Harang had 97 pitches after those 6 innings. In the bottom of the 6th the Reds had 2 on with 2 outs with Harang up. Now remember Harang doesnt have his best stuff and has 97 pitches so far. So a guy who isnt pitching that well anyway but gave you 6 innings of 1 run baseball and has 97 pitches comes up with 2 out and 2 on no way do you allow that pitcher to hit, no way. This lose should in no way go on Harangs record it should be on Dustys record. There should be a lose column for the coaches. Tonights game is a big reason why everyone calls Dusty a poor pitchers manager. He could have helped Harang and his team out just by taking Harang out of the game. Would Harang rather have a line of 6 inn. and 1 run or his what 6 and 1/3 inns. and 5 runs its just mind boggling at how bad Dusty manages pitchers. So this lose goes to Dusty not Harang. In the kangaroo court Dusty should be fined 5,000 dollars for cowsting Harang and the Reds this win. Not to mention the this is Harangs home town. I hope ya can sleep tonight Dusty.

Rosales is who I was thinking he should have brought in.

not the best of pinch hitters. he is more of a gamer. when he plays he hits. looked a bit rusty. we need gomes up now.

Harang should've been pulled earlier...but it's one loss against the Padres. We should win the next two because the hitting should show back up.
I'm still not completely sold on Gonzales being brought back in, RBIs or not.

I'm probably the only San Diegan here, and I was at last nights game as I'll be there tonight and tomorrow. And all I have to say is that I'm embarrassed. I mean this looked like the team of last year ... same old Reds. It was just flat out embarrassing...

What San Diego Series?..........i think we need to put it behind us and try to work towards another streak of series wins. The injuries and the rotation jumble will hurt in the future, but it is important to not let this thing linger and take us out of the picture at the break.
