View Full Version : Jake Fox, who simply dominated Triple A, is called up for the Cubs
.423/.503/.886 in 149 AB. That's a 1.389 OPS.
17 HR, 50 RBI, 14 2B, 2 3B. Yeah, over half his hits have been for extra bases.
He's 26, but... I am quiet curious as to how he does. He was 2-14 during his first call up in 2007.

Since I have connections to him here in Indy I hope he does well even though he is a dastardly Cub, but until I see different I think he is nothing more than Champ Summers or Roberto Petagine.
Roberto Petigine. Haha. Almost forgot about him. :o

Speaking of the Cubs, Zambrano argues call, gets tossed, ball heads to bleachers ala Rob Dibble :beerme:

I've never understood that. He threw it from 200 feet away(pitchers mound to centerfield right?) and still had enough on it to not only bruise, but break a bone.
Wow could he throw hard.

Wow could he throw hard.IIRC, she said that the ball hit her, and bounced into her drink. I guess he was told to apologize, but did it in a bad way. I'll try and email her.
