Gotta be the lack of left handed pitching he was facing. He was raking against right handed pitchers, gives him a chance to see more left handed pitchers.

He'll definitely be wearing a Red's jersey come September. I wouldn't be surprised if they pull a "Stubbs" with him and promote him to AAA after only about 100 AB's at AA

June 1; I've thought that's the timing all along. I'd guess July 15 is the target date for AAA.

Good move. I was hoping he would be in Carolina by no later than June 1. How stacked is the Carolina lineup now with Heisey/Alonso/Frazier/Francisco?

So, does Parker go down to Sarasota to get ABs?

Nothing yet on the roster move on the websites.

Barker at AAA shouldn't be blocking anybody, and Parker is 24. I would think a promotion should be more likely for Parker.

Geez, I hope Heisey and Frazier get promoted to Louisville. Is there any rule that says Dorn can't be demoted back to double A?

And why not move Frazier back to 3B?

Do you really think Parker is ready for AAA? I don't.

Could also be about Votto's DL stint.

Coincidence?

If he hits well in AA over the next month and Votto is still not back is he called up?

No. He gets called up in September, as planned.
