Maloney question

Why was everyone calling Maloney a "soft" throwing lefty? He was in the 90-91 range with his 4-seamer all night. His breaking stuff isn't all that fast, but it is not suppose to be. Fact is that because of the way a lefty's arm slot usually is, the 90-91 looks like 95. That is why when Price in TB throws 96-98 it looks like 100. Santana is not called soft throwing. Just because you don't throw mid 90s doesn't mean soft throwing.

Amen, I only watched highlights and he looked great. Also, it seems opposing teams might want to hit it where Dickerson ain't.
