Dorn seems of late to be "getting it". Hope it continues, he may prove to be a better option to some of the fringe OF's currently on the team.

Yes, I said OF. While he's been playing a lot of 1st, he is traditionally LF, and that's where he's playing right now.

Dorn homered in 1st AB tonight.

The problem is that The Crusty Baker would never play him as he's not SuperFast.

It's much better to have a guy with a .200 AVG and .260 OBP hit 4 times a game, because those few times he gets on base, he'll be such a problem for the pitcher.

Dorn will make a nice LH-bat off the bench one day, but that's about it IMO.
