Josh Roenicke has been recalled by the Reds, according to the Louisville Bats game notes. I do not know who the reds released or demoted, I assume Lincoln.

Congratulations to Josh Roenicke. I can't say that I am sorry to see Lincoln go (if it is Lincoln), but I have to admire the way he worked his way back from some serious injury problems.

This is good news. I'd rather see a young kid with upside get pounded than Mike Lincoln. I don't think Roenicke will be nearly as terrible as Lincoln though.

Who goes down? Lincoln? He was placed on waivers, but no way he accepts the demotion.

That really only leaves Burton, or Fisher. I doubt they send out a position player they already have 57 pitchers on the staff.

Very glad to see Josh back here. He's not getting any younger.

I have this feeling Lincoln is not going anywhere. No one will want him in a trade except my rec baseball team, and he'd still be the mop-up guy on our team. Burton and Fisher have options.

Lincoln has been placed on the DL for a bulging disc in his neck.

Perhaps it's just whiplash from snapping his neck back to see how many rows up the ball is landing in LF.

Love roenicke baby! He's got a great fastball! I think he's a really sound addition to this bullpen and a huge upgrade over Lincoln. If they're patient with him he'll contribute in a big way.

I'm really excited, I've never got the opportunity to see him pitch. Really looking forward to it :):)

It looks like he didn't pitch today in Louisville's game. Here's to hoping we get to see him to night :beerme:

Everything is taking shape for a nice 2010 run.

Another step will be a Bronson trade 30 days from now.
