Doug what do you think of Janke, I have not followed him very much at all. What does he throw and what are his long term prospects. He has put up some nice numbers.

Smit didn't make it through the second inning?

It will be interesting to see how Smit, Dallas Buck, James Avery and Daryl Thompson perform in the second half of the season. My guess is only two of them will be joining Stewart, Wood and Smith in next year's AAA rotation.

Wow that is almost Taverasesque. Maybe the pressure of a possible call up is in his head

I'd rather see him struggle through the slump before he gets to Cincy.

I really hope Frazier and Heisey go to Louisville next week. Apparently there is a BA feature on Heisey coming up...

J.J. Cooper: I have a ton of good questions left but I need to write up a Chris Heisey feature for the next issue before heading home to watch the College World Series. I hope you all have a great weekend.

I was really hoping for a Stubbs call up soon, but it looks like he has cooled off.
