It could have been worse. If Fisher finished the 9th, chances are the game would have finished like this in extras knowing Dusty:

Cordero 1 IP 0.00 ER
Roenike 2 IP 0.00 ER
Arroyo 3 IP 0.00 ER
Cueto 1 IP 3.00 ER

Final - STL 7 - CIN 4 (16 IN)

Arroyo would immediately give up 6 ER's in the first two innings of his next two starts, before being put on the 60 day DL, after his arm is ruined.

Sound familiar? That's Dusty for you. Sometimes its better to just go ahead and blow the game in 9 innings rather than being put through the craphole known as his managing as he burns pitcher after pitcher throughout an eventual extra inning loss, since as usual, he uses 4 over the final 1 2/3.

Wow, we're really reaching if we're bashing him for hypothetical situations.
