2 run homer by Rasmus to follow the double. And we heard Bronson was on the block, like anyone would want this.

Atta baby Arroyo. Glad to see you've got things figured out....

They won't be able to trade him but its time to put him on the DL or take him out of the rotation.

Wow Wild Thing, 7-2 on the year attendance? You need to go more! I'm a .500 average just like the team :)

Scary thing is, with Mr. Veteran Loyalty man as a manager, Arroyo will probably stay in the rotation with Volquez comes back.

Haha I know. I need to get down there more often so we can win the division. The two losses were on Opening Day and the second game of the season against the Mets.. At that point I thought I was terrible luck for them, but since then I've been 7-0.

Two batters into the game and the game is over. Nice, Bronson.

The All-Star Roster is up to 33 now? Geez.

Bronson has retired nine batters consecutively. The Reds need some offense.

Hairston with a base knock to lead off the third. Hanigan with a single to right. All he does is hit so far this year. 1st and 2nd, nobody down. Arroyo will be called on to sacrifice.

I love watching Hanigan bat.

Bronson with a solid sacrifice.

Arroyo moves the runners into scoring position. We need a clutch hit here. Soft pop to the SS. It is up to Taveras.

Votto on deck. It would be a good time for Taveras' first walk in about forever. Ground ball back to the mound. Ugly. 2nd and 3rd with one out and the Reds, once again, rise to the occasion by not even being able to get the ball out of the infield.

Ruh Roh! Bronson being Bronson again. First two batters single. Ankiel retired on the first pitch on fly ball to Taveras. Runners hold.

Yadier Molina with an RBI line drive single to left. DL anyone?

Another hard hit ball but Phillips makes a fine stop and flips to Votto for the second out.
BOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!! Carpenter, the pitcher, singles up the middle to drive in the 4th Cardinal run. Carpenter was hitting .118.

Bronson has me convinced. Down 4 zip against Carpenter with Bronson guaranteed to give up more runs. Later.

I don't know why I am still watching this. Bronson leaves with the bases loaded and none out in the sixth.

Dusty tried to let Bronson take one for the team. But Bronson (or maybe the Cardinals) just would not play along.

Bases loaded with Pujols coming on, isn't that Stormy time???? LOL.

Drew sutton playing SS.

Does dusty just not care anymore? I know its 8-0 but Sutton has only played 54 games at SS in the minors over 577 games.

We have a Drew Sutton sighting. Dusty does the double-switch just to show off. And you want to try get Hairston out of the lineup because he has 2 of the 3 Reds' hits. LOL. Dusty is killing me.

Down 8 zip with Carpenter on the mound and Dusty still has the wheels turning, the toothpick grinding. Nice to see.

Bronson puts a serious damper on the Game Thread. Last two games the post counts were up around 300. Today, sadly, hovering around 30. Of course, when the game is over after the first two batters it is understandable.
