Funny thing on Bartolo Colon. He's supposed to be on a rehab but he's gone missing and the Chi Sox have no clue where he's at.

Where in the world is Bartolo? (http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=4312989)

The Sun Times had a funny 'tweet' on Twitter last night about the situation:

If anyone sees Bartolo Colon, please call the Sox immediately. Do not approach him on your own, especially if he is feeding.

The Sox should be checking the local Krispy Kremes.

Well that's convenient. If they put out an APB on him, the cops won't have to go far to search :beerme:

Speaking of that I saw a story on the news where, to keep it from going out of business, the local police bought a doughnut shop!

It's Chicago, though. His choices aren't limited to Krispy Kreme or Taco Bell. There's pizza, hot dogs, all kinds of stuff for him to pig out on.

Bartolo Colon always makes me think of this headline:

And then I laugh uncontrollably for about 15-20 minutes. Excuse me, I'll be over here giggling.

The White Sox have received assurances that disabled pitcher Bartolo Colon will make his first minor-league rehabilitation start as scheduled Thursday night for Triple-A Charlotte.

A Knights spokesman said Colon, who has been on the 15-day disabled list since June 8 because of left knee inflammation, was to join the team after 6 p.m. Wednesday.

In the meantime, Guillen found some amusement in the uncertainty over the whereabouts of Colon.

"I worry about Colon because Colon was a big-time Michael Jackson fan," Guillen said. "He might [watch] the TV and cry all day long. Maybe he is in L.A. at his funeral, because I can't find him. When he gets to Charlotte, Oney (Guillen's son) will call me to say he's there.

"Nobody knows how big of a Jackson fan Colon was. I'm serious. He might be depressed a little bit."

Colon will need at least three starts to put himself into consideration to start one of the games of a July 24 doubleheader at Detroit.

Guillen said general manager Ken Williams was more irritated over the whereabouts of Colon, who last was seen rehabilitating his knee at Physiotherapy Associates in Tempe, Ariz.

"The problem is when he comes back, how are we going to use him?" Guillen said. "That's something we have to decide later."

The quote from Guillen is off the unintentional comedy charts.
