Chris Dickerson could barely lift his right arm. He said the feeling is similar to when he tore his rotator cuff in 2006.
Micah Owings said his shoulder got tighter and tighter.
Both will be examined today.
I'd think both are headed for the DL.
If Dickerson goes on, you'd have to think Chris Heisey or Drew Stubbs will get the call. But I thought that when Jay Bruce got hurt, too. If Drew Sutton is brought back, some people on this blog are not going to be happy. Nothing against Sutton. But I think people would rather see someone who could be in next year's outfield plans.
As for Owings, I'm not sure who would take his spot. The guy who is pitching the best is Justin Lehr (12-3, 3.33 ERA). Matt Maloney has pitched well, too.
