View Full Version : Dickerson and Micah possibly going on DL

Chris Dickerson could barely lift his right arm. He said the feeling is similar to when he tore his rotator cuff in 2006.

Micah Owings said his shoulder got tighter and tighter.

Both will be examined today.

I'd think both are headed for the DL.

If Dickerson goes on, you'd have to think Chris Heisey or Drew Stubbs will get the call. But I thought that when Jay Bruce got hurt, too. If Drew Sutton is brought back, some people on this blog are not going to be happy. Nothing against Sutton. But I think people would rather see someone who could be in next year's outfield plans.

As for Owings, I'm not sure who would take his spot. The guy who is pitching the best is Justin Lehr (12-3, 3.33 ERA). Matt Maloney has pitched well, too.

Its going to be Sutton, and Maloney. They will not make a roster move unless they have to.

I'd like to see Lehr. Sort of a lifetime achievement award. This season's over.

I wouldn't mind giving McDonald another look. And yeah, call up Lehr. What could it hurt at this point.

It would be nice to see Heisey, Stubbs etc. But with them not being on the 40 man roster, I think the FO will let us limp through August and bring them up on Sept 1. You can figure on Sutton & Maloney.

I don't really care at this point, the season is basically over. Just call up someone to fill in for the rest of this wasted year. I don't care if its Danny Serafini.

Both will stick around for two weeks as day to day before hitting the DL for the remainder of the season. We'll play with a 22 man roster, as usual.

Can we now please get a look at Stubbs?

This...gotta agree.

2009 RIP. I agree with giving Lehr a shot. And, as usual, Walt will mismanage the roster.
