Me and my wife were in the process of moving into the home we live in now when the strike occurred. Really I didn't miss the rest of the season because we were so busy getting unpacked and settling in our new home. When I had some free time I just watched football, read or something else. But it did have an effect on me that I did lose some interest in baseball for a time and didn't really follow the Reds very closely again until I found RedsZone in 2003.
