If theres any doubt that the Scrubs have the worst fans in baseball....

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xwsQ3ADqO0A

ESPN showed this and honestly I hope they throw the bookcase at him. Cause the moron tried to time this so as to make him drop the ball, what if the beer distracted Victorino and the ball ended up hitting him right in the eye and caused major damage?

The topper of all this ESPN showed security escorting him out, and you can read his lips saying "what?" as if he did nothing wrong. What a moron.

I love the one Phili fan in the stands going after the guy as security escorts him out.I'd hate to get myself kicked out of a game and probably further trouble but if I saw someone do that to Bruce while at Wrigley I would have lost it and went after the guy.And I hate to fight, but that guy would have got beat down.

That is child's play. Did anyone catch any of the USA-Mexico soccer match yesterday?
I saw a little of it and when Landon Donovan went to try a corner kick there was so much crap raining down on him that they had two guys hold up this shield so he could get the kick off. And they had the shield there already, so that must be standard fare at Stadia Azteca. When it comes to boorish fan behavior, Americans - even Cub fans - are pretty much weenies.

If someone asked you to guess which ball park would have someone throw a beer on an opposing team's outfielder while he was trying to catch the ball, most would probably guess Wrigley. I went to Wrigley for a 3 game series in '03 - I always wanted to go there. Boy was I quite unimpressed by some of their fans. On an early Tuesday afternoon - guys were wasted drunk and yelling obscenities like "hey Dunn you're a
f----t!"

Yeah they said on espn this morning that the security got the wrong guy. However the guy next to him that they did get was cheering the dude on like he was god. Both should have been ejected.

I'm not sure that cheering on someone that did something stupid or illegal is cause for ejection.

And yeah, BTW just looked at it over again. Notice on the slow motion you can see the guy in the white shirt kind of indiscreetly throw it on the field, the guy next to him.

Cubs home games just seem like one giant frat party. Granted, not everyone that goes there is as dumb as this guy, but it has never seemed like a very savvy baseball crowd. Just a bunch of college kids and tourists wanting to see Wrigley Field.

I just sent it to someone and noticed the guy who threw it even pointed to himself and admitted he did it, and they STILL threw out the other guy. LOL.

That was absolutely hilarious, I love when fans do stuff like that. Here is another funny clip http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5O_VFrAQRiE

I also loved seeing the Mexican crowd rain cups down at Donovan while he attempted a corner kick, sure its over the top but at least you know the home fans there have emotion. American sports crowds have become way too emotionless lately, sometimes it feels like going to a suit and tie event rather than a sporting event. Its true that throwing stuff at players can cause damage (batteries in Philly anyone?) but the guy threw a plastic cup, so in my book he is ahead of the jerkoff who sits in the first ten rows and plays on his cell the entire game and the people who complain when people stand up during the game.

Then again, it is bad for the sport and can lead to a player fan brawl (Pacers/Pistons) so I have mixed feelings. I love seeing this stuff on TV and find it entertaining, but I do realize that you can't have this going on for the sake of the sport.
