Great move by the Reds. Nothing to dislike about this.

Brandon Webb could be in our sights. Not that we did this to get Brandon Webb but it certainly helps a bit I hope.

Yeah he missed almost the entire season with shoulder issues.

And as far as Price possibly leading to Webb coming here...do we even know if Webb and Price got along well or well enough he'd want to come to Cincinnati?

Bryan Price is a great a coach and is a very smart move from the Reds to develop this very young and talented staff.

Big thumbs up!

Az. picked up Webb's option already but would be a good try.

I'm not familiar with Price or his work, but this seems to be a pretty well received hire here and over on ORG.

I was pulling for Mario Soto, but this appears to be a quality get for the Reds.

Sorry I thought they had , I was wrong. I wouldn't mind if he would come here since they missed or over looked him the first time.

Not that familair either, btiu what I am reading today looks like a good move for the Reds. Wil lbe interesting to see how Power, Soto feels about it.

I was under the impression that Soto wasn't all that interested in the position to begin with. Power, on the other hand, may feel a bit miffed about it.

Unfortunately, I have a strong feeling Webb won't be a Cincinnati Red. But I would be glad to be proved wrong.

I really like the Price signing. Honestly had not remembered ever hearing of the guy. A good sign is, he wasn't fired from AZ, he resigned. The Reds-signing press release from AZ Central News was flooded with positive comments about him.

"It's always nice to see kids come in the system. It says a lot about the organization. I think I came into a great situation, not waiting two or three years until the primary prospects. There are guys who are ready to become big league pitches." The quote from the cnati.com article says a lot to me. Finally a fresh, excited pitching coach. I just hope Dusty lets him do his thing.

And quite frankly, I'm just happy Dick Pole isn't waddling his way around the clubhouse anymore.
