nate started a thread like this in tORG. He's compiling data from both of these threads and putting it in a spreadsheets, which can be found in tORG thread with the same title as this one.
He plans on doing a new Red every couple of days, and I plan on following him. Bronson Arroyo has already been done, so PM nate with that if you'd like (or PM me, and I'll pass it on to nate)
Simply put down any stat projections you'd like on the player.

I'll start: 158 IP, 16-10, 4.10 ERA, 120 K

30 GS
190 IP
175 K
180H
75 BB
4.50 ERA
1.34 WHIP

He does this, he has turned the corner on consistency and can contend for TOR duty once Harang and Arroyo are both gone - which I don't think happens in 2011 btw.

sub 4.00 ERA? REALLY!?!?!?

Sure he had a good run at the end of the season, but to expect him to be better than Cueto or Harang or Arroyo?!?

I already think he's better than Cueto, who is somewhat overrated by Reds fans. Bailey has upper 90's stuff, plus he's getting full command of his pitches.

Unless Cueto adjusts and stays healthy, I don't think he'll be better than Bailey going forward. A solid #4 starter for a playoff team? Probably. He might pitch like a #2 starter 2-3 years in his career, but he's proven that he can't attack hitters in the zone frequently enough, or pitch to contact for that matter. We'll see where he lands this year. I'd hate to see him go the way of Ian Snell.
Hopefully his second half was attributable to fatigue from playing winter ball before the season.

I think Bailey will do well, especially if he gets off an running early and comes into camp in great shape. Hopefully he knows how to prepare for a full MLB season. Perhaps Bryce will help? Bailey still has TOR stuff, so maybe we'll be surprised? Let's face it, it wouldn't take a Cy Young performance to lead this Reds staff.

His stuff is unquestionable. Harnassing it for an entire season in the Bigs, and keeping his head on straight have always been the concern.
Cueto's never had any problems with that, his have all been control and possible dead-arm during last season. His ERA didn't break 3.0 until July. Homer's will probably break that on his first start.

Feeling optimistic on this one overall. I think he pounds out a full season and ends up one of our most productive performers.

If Homer has an ERA under 4.00 for the season - minimum 15 starts - I'll eat my hat.
