Well this would only be the 2nd Reboot. Superman Returns was suppose to take place after Superman 3 I believe and the other Superman movies were ignored from the canon like the one with Richard Pryor

Agreed. I don't mind reboots at all. As a loyal Superman reader, I can't count how many times the series has been fundamentally altered.

I'm down with this Brandon Routh was not an inspired choice the first time around. Nolanverse DC is an interesting place and a darker Superman would be intriguing.
