Leaving tonight, going to try and catch the Reds tomorrow against Oakland, then on to Tucson v. the D'Backs, and back to Goodyear for Wednesday's game. Curious if anyone knows if and when he is scheduled again. Thanks in advance!

He pitched two innings on the 8th and then two more on the 12th so it seems likely that he would go again on either the 16th (Tues.) or the 17th (Wed.). I'd say there is a good chance you are going to see him unless he appears in a "B" game or something along those lines.

Thanks guys for all helpful info and well-wishes. Saw the Reds / A's game earlier today, highly impressed with Leake! But, the reports of his height, or lack there of, do not seem unfounded. Boy, does he appear small in person. Aside from that, he's got some live action and pinpoint control. REALLY looking forward to the season!

In Tucson now, will see the Reds at the D'backs at 1:05pm tomorrow.

so how was the game N14?

Lots of solid fundamentals, hustle and guys with their heads in the game from what I saw. VERY encouraging overall. Most impressive, was Leake - as well as Dickerson's 4 for 4.

I saw Chapman today from behind the plate (row C), and, one word, AWESOME. The off-speed stuff is wicked, as were the few sliders. Fastball, according to the scout w/ the speed gun, topped out at 100 today. Lots of 97's and 98's. Lots of poise and maturity, overall, with guys on, and settling in and getting ahead of the hitters.

A Reds loss today of course, but the sun was brutal to the outfielders, causing the Reds to give up several unearned runs. Small sample size, but overall, it's very promising, IMO.
