Says this will be his walk-up song on the title of the video. Thoughts?

Hopefully he plays well enough this year to deserve having a song written about him...because you should have to be an MVP caliber player to garner a freaking rap song

I think it's kind of neat. Our web site gave him the nickname 'The Deal'. That is what this song is about obv.

Jay likes hip-hop quite a bit from what I understand. I do not but the song won't be bad for a batter walk up.

The best thing about this as a walk-up?

You won't have to listen to too much of it!

I do wonder what part(s) he's planning to actually use for his walk-up, because the opening 10-15 seconds is pretty horrific. I'm sure he want something with a lyric or three in it...

PEACE

That's pretty sweet that Jay has his own song, no matter what it is. One thing I think we don't have to worry about is Jay hanging out with thuggish, gang banging, rap gangsters though haha. Louie G looks someones little brother who got a little carried away on the DJ hero game for X Box and made a rap song. I'm not sure how much street cred the dude gets with the plush vest from Old Navy and straight billed hat. Looks like Louie G is from Beaumont TX like Jay. Probably friends since they were kids or something. Here's the Facebook:

They are childhood friends.

I interviewed the guy who wrote the song (also a childhood friend of Jay's). A lot of background on Jay and the song right here.
