Stealing this idea from the Old Red Guard Forum...

After many years of hopeful thinking- this lifelong Cincinnatian and Reds fan is heading down to his first opening day ever tomorrow- as my wife got me a power pack for my birthday. We're going to get there early to find a good parking spot and take in all the festivities around town.

Hope you all enjoy your day. I know I will.

Go Reds.

Tomorrow is the best day of the year. Just thought I would throw that in.

No work, no NOTHING tomorrow, except for obscene amounts of baseball and the NCAA championship game. Greatest sports day of the year.

I get the day off of school (I'm in college) due to Easter festivities, so I will be watching the game with my grandfather, one of my hero's.

I just had an "emergency" at work that means I have to leave here at noon to be home in time to catch the game on tv :)

Sit at work until about 12:30 in which i will have to leave for a outdoor work site where i will have to work with no radio or internet during the entire game.

I am officially pissed. :thumbdown

Stuck at work. Guess I'll just have to keep checking ESPN, Fox, or CBS periodically. On second thought, I'll just keep the game thread open. Only problem is that doing so may get this site banned at work.

We have had texting blocked on our cells ever since we got them. Besides, my boss literally sits 5 feet from me. He would get annoyed real quick from the texting (no radio either - to noisy). He does not care as much about the internet. IT are the people that worry about that.
