B. Nice bunt, Drew.

He's not missing by much, but he is off the plate. The ump's been pretty solid so far, IMO.

Ya. Brantley is a bit of a gasbag.

Gets Leake off the basepaths. Worst case, trades Leakes for Stubbs. And with Stubbs stealing second, same as successful bunt, but with faster runner at second.

That's what I was thinking too although Harang mentioned in his post game interview the other day that some illness was going around the clubhouse. It could still be affecting him a bit. Gorzelanny has been tough today though.

He's going to get some of those calls once the umpires have seen him more (seriously, some of those pitches would be called strikes if it were any veteran pitcher throwing them) but overall, he did a tremendous job today and should be very proud. You only have one first start and his was pretty darn great. I hope the guys can scrape across at least two runs and take him off the hook for the loss.

He could strike out nobody for another 4 innings and still have a good K/9.

Joey needs a hug. I volunteer. :p:

I think he'll be fine. He just needs to remember that he's not facing Carpenter or Wainright anymore and can be more selective at the plate. :)
