Looks natural back there. Keeps the glove low, which is something I know takes awhile for new catchers to learn. When I first got moved to catcher after my freshman year of HS, my I always felt my glove was lower than it was, so when my coach kep telling me to lower it, I felt like it was out of the zone. Can't wait to see him attempt to throw some runners out.

He sure gets low back there, and I'd like to echo 11Larkin11 that he looks pretty good just based off those quick vids.

Matt was outstanding today. No radar gun available but it seemed he had a sneaky fastball that may not have been high velocity but it caught some guys off guard as alot were late on his fastball. The only hard hit ball all day off him was a liner right back at him that he somehow grabbed. Soto looked good behind the plate but was never really tested. If i could get my last Soto video up he has a nice scoop on a check swing strike 3. at bat he seemed a little impatient but make decent contact. Meso was DHing and if was really getting fooled on offspeed stuff. he turned on fastballs hooking them foul or just making good contact but he really struggled with the offspeed stuff today. I dont know much about Gualdron but he crushed the ball today. Mendez has a sweet swing. Buchholz looked good at ss not so much at the plate today. The guy I was most impressed with today though was Fellhauer. He showed great plate discipline and has a real quick swing.

That scoop looked like a 3rd baseman fielding a hop, he's gotta bring his body up closer in case he misses the scoop it hits flat on his chest and goes forward. Obviously he's obscenely raw so I don't expect that to happen, but playing the hot corner with the short hops should help in that regard.

Soto does not look bad for a guy that is trying to convert to the position. I'm pretty impressed, even though it's just a couple of short videos.
