Sparky really played around with the lineups early that season. RedsZone would have a great time discussing these lineups. It seems I've seen a different combination every game. Chaney gets his shot at 3rd today. I have feeling that isn't going to work out either.

I'm not sure if you read "The Machine" or not but it gives some good insight to Sparky and the lineups he created early in the 75' season.

Dusty would be proud with the SS batting #2. :)

Something has to be done about 3B. Maybe Flynn?

Yes, I've read it. I was mainly thinking about how RZ would react to these lineups Sparky was putting out there. It took a lot of tinkering and finally a very unselfish act by Rose to go to third to finally get the BRM lineup in place. Even at that it took a couple of weeks or so for that gel.
