How long before there's a comeback story about him trying to make an MLB roster again?

He was just about unhittable when he was at his most ... chemically advanced.

So sad to see a player hang up the syringes.

I always thought that it was cool to have a Canadian pitcher with a name that means "won" in French.

For a few years, he was the hands-down best closer in baseball. It's a shame injuries caught up to him. Here are his numbers from 2002-6:

W L W-L% ERA G GS GF CG SHO SV IP H R ER HR BB IBB SO HBP BK WP BF ERA+ WHIP H/9 HR/9 BB/9 SO/9 SO/BB
14 7 .667 1.82 240 0 209 0 0 161 262.1 155 58 53 15 62 9 390 11 0 8 1007 221 0.827 5.3 0.5 2.1 13.4 6.29

He wasn't half the man that Vern Gagne was.
