Here is a quote from Joe Strauss, a Cardinals beat writer: "There is a real chance Lopez will be out months rather than weeks. The club has postponed any further announcement for a couple of weeks as (he) rests the elbow, but but both the player and some within the organization harbor real concerns about it."
