After Mike Leake's six-inning, one earned run performance on Monday night against the Mets, the Reds rotation has gone 4-1 with a 2.70 ERA over its last seven starts. Arroyo was right in the middle of that, outdueling Roy Oswalt with six strong innings on April 29, his first solid outing since his eight-inning 2010 debut. So not only is he hoping to keep the good times rolling for the rotation, he's looking to build off his last start -- his first victory of the year -- and find a personal groove to boot.

I don't think Cincinnati is a large enough market to support a baseball team during April and May. They've rarely shown the ability to do so. Most of their fans come from out of town on the weekends and during the Summer. The Tri-County area just isn't enough to support them during April and May.

I have found this season the best way to go to a game if you are on a budget. Get a 5 dollar seat and move to the upper level on the first base side next to the $1 dollar menu section.. It makes for an outstanding trip to the game.

that's true to an extent but atleast be able to draw 17,000 or 18,000.. The Brewers get like 25,000 on a weeknight and they have a market size simular to Cincy don't they?

I thought Phillips should have been on third. Did a little too much watching and not enough running. That ended up costing the Reds a run because he would have easily scored on Votto's deep fly.
