Bats outfielder Luis Terrero led the International League with four home runs and 12 RBI during the past week, which is a remarkable feat considering he entered the week with a total of zero home runs and 4 RBI through 17 games (6 with Louisville and 11 with Double-A Carolina). His power surge begun at a perfect time for his club, as Terrero hit what proved to be a game-winning 3-run homer in the bottom of the 7th Monday night against Buffalo. He crushed another three-run blast the next night, part of a 5-RBI evening. Then on Wednesday, he hit a solo shot to homer for the third straight game. One more long ball on Saturday gave him four for the week. Terrero is now hitting .333 in 13 games at the Triple-A level in 2010. Luis Terrero, who turns 30 years old tomorrow, is in his 13th season of professional baseball. He is a veteran of Triple-A Baseball, having played with Tucson of the Pacific Coast League (2003-05) as well as Ottawa (2006), Charlotte (2007), and Norfolk (2008). He spent 2009 playing in the Mexican League, where he hit .345 with 21 HR and 90 RBI in 103 games. Terrero is a native of Barahona, Dominican Republic.
