Wow, Chris Perez was dealing that inning. Rolling Stones - Painting it black type heat.

He is easily the best RP the Indians have. Only a matter of time before he wins the closer role back from Wood.

I steared clear of the board tonight because I got tired of all the 'drama' for lack of a better word, but I'm VERY glad the Reds left yesterday behind and came out fighting to get the win tonight. They played a pretty solid game overall and I'm proud of Bronson for pitching so well when you could tell he didn't have his good stuff tonight. Nice offense (go Nix! Guess he wanted to make up for yesterday :D), good defense, and pretty solid pitching. Heisey definitely should be in there.

Put Heisey in left instead of Nix and your onto something

Still think that after what Nix did last night? :) ... 3 fer 4, 2 dbls and a Hr, 8 total bases, 2 RBIs. Even in the debacle vs the Braves the other night the guy went 3 fer 5, 1 Hr, 7 total bases, and 3 RBIs.

No I don't prefer Nix over Heisey, and I like what I've seen out of the youngster so far. But I have no problem getting Nix some spot playing time, and not putting so much pressure on Heisey.
