According to ESPN (http://sports.espn.go.com/new-york/mlb/news/story?id=5208959, Curtis Granderson will be playing in all four of the Scranton Yankees games in Louisville this weekend on a rehab assignment!

A lefthander named Luis Gonzalez started and won for the VSL Reds today. His line was 5 IP, 3 H, 1 R, 0 ER, 0 BB, 3 K. The really interesting thing? He turned 17 less than two months ago.

I've been noticing that. I think his slow start was the only reason Cairo is still a RED. If Sutton keeps this up a couple more games, he should get the call and Cairo should get the boot. They've played Sutton at 1st Base the last couple of days in preparation for this move.

Agree completely. Having a guy who can hit lefty to sub for Rolen and Phillips and also hit righty to sub for Votto makes him much more useful than Cairo. Sutton is probably a better hitter as a major leaguer as well.

Balentien has started looking good too.
And apparently, Adkins has lost closer status.

Del Rosario has been really impressive.

It's tempting to want him in the Majors, but I don't want his growth disturbed by too soon of a move, either.

Nice game by Mesoraco.

Frazier is off to an awful start. These last two weeks have really been tough for him. Hopefully he gets things going soon ... he's too good not to.

Just to expand on my other post, I think Frazier will bounce back. He's just off to a rough start. It happens. I think he'll have a strong second half. I still consider him a very good prospect. I've met him a couple times at Redsfest - he's a great person. I hope he starts hitting and forces his way into Cincinnati at some point this season. I think he'll eventually be an .825-.850 OPS type of hitter in the major leagues.

Yea ive always pictured him as a .290/.350/.450 type guy with the OBP going up if the slugging does.

It's possible Frazier is battling an injury of some kind. He had the knee problem in the offseason, and he's been getting quite a few days off.
