Chapman is straight DEALING. Mixed up all his pitches well in the second. The first slider to the second batter was one of the more ridiculous things I've ever seen.

No problem.

It's the Code button that looks like # in the advanced reply screen.

Then it usually needs a little adjustment here and there to line up.

I use the preview post until it's right.

Odd: Lynchburg wins 7-6 in 10; Dayton loses 7-6 in 10. The Dragons' loss was pinned on Mike Konstanty, the former first baseman who, I believe, was making his professional pitching debut.

Mesoraco added a single in his final atbat to finish 3-for-4 with a double (11), HR (10), a walk, and 2 RBI.

Its silly how good this kid has been this year at the plate. Then factor in that hes a catcher and its even more awesome.

I only got to watch the first two innings closely. The first inning, Chapman was throwing pretty much only fastballs, but he was commanding it well and no hitter even came close to catching up to it. The second inning he looked even more sharp...mixed in some nice changeups and sliders. I was kind of distracted the last few innings, but they didn't seem quite as sharp as the first two command wise. Definitely one of his best starts from what I could see.

Not until after the High A All-Star Game. Imagine he gets promoted within a week of that.

MLB Network showed some highlights of Chapman's start tonight. Wow. I just can't get over how filthy his stuff is. He's got one of the best arsenals I have ever seen. When he gains consistent command of his secondary pitches, he's going to be borderline unhittable. The sky is the ceiling for him, IMO. I'm so glad the Reds are being patient with him, and I hope they continue to do so, but at the same time, I can't wait to watch him in Cincinnati.
