Sounds like he got in around 9 this morning. He got the word at 1:30 this morning while in Lynchburg.

Mesoraco did get a pinch hit apprearance in the ninth and K'd. Long day for the kid.

Tomorrow the Lynchburg battery will get its first start here in Carolina, Matt Fairel and Mesoraco will start. We're planning to be there for the 2 o'clock first pitch.

The Dominican Summer League opened their season up today. The DSL Reds lost 7-4.

Felix Perez: 1-for-4 (our Cuban signee)
Wilfrel Estevez: 3-for-4 (19 year old OF)
Ariel Baez: 2-for-3 triple, walk, 3 RBI (19 year old 3B)
Jonathan Suero: 1-for-4 (17 year old switch-hitting SS)

In the Mudcats games I've seen, the catcher always looks to the bench for the calls
