Harang doing his typical, allowing baserunners, flirting with disaster.

Dickerson is a bit of a homer, but, he's a way more entertaining and informative announcer than Keels.

Dickerson is very well spoken and I could see him having a career in broadcasting, definitely.

I really enjoyed Dickerson being in the booth and talking about who the fun guys in the clubhouse are.

I have newfound respect for Cairo. He's been hitting the ball very well. The whole team is on fire at the plate.

Of course Dickerson's a homer. He should be thrown out of the booth if he's not.;)

Speaking of homers, Ramon hit his first!

Third straight game where the opposing starter is blasted out of the game early.

Bruce Slugging percentage since April 12th is .530

His OPS is like .960 since that date also I think. Not sure I dont feel like doing the math.

It's nice to see other teams with starters and relievers who are really really bad for a change. Of course, last night they did it against a starter who is not all that bad in Wandy Rodriguez.

They are indeed on a roll.

I shouldn't laugh at the misfortune of others, as the Reds have had a great deal of misfortune over the last 9 years, but the Astros easily look like a 100 loss team.

Oswalt is probably screaming get me out of here at this point.

Yeah, we've struggled against Wandy in the past, so I agree. We hit a good pitcher hard last night. Good to see.

This is the same Houston team that went into St. Louis on May 11th, 12th, and 13th and swept them, beating Penny, Lohse, and Carpenter. I realize Penny and Lohse are now on the DL, but still...........if they're that bad, St. Louis still should have beaten them.

Vottomatic

What is wrong with Massett? He's driving me nuts anymore. We can't expect to beat good teams in close games if our bullpen is going to pitch like this.

Let's finally get Leake his 5th win, darn it. He should be 6-0 right now if not for our lousy bullpen. Dude should be going for win #7.

What an offensive show, I'm really enjoying this run. I feel bad for any Astro fans that came to town for the series. A while back I was hoping that we would get to 30-21, now we're 30-20 and I'm thoroughly impressed. A full 2 games up!

Massett has just completely lost it.

I don't know, his opponents' BABIP is other-worldly at the moment, nearly at .500 now. .500! That's insane. I mean a lot of this is him struggling, but things can't keep going this bad for him all year. Balls are going to start finding gloves and he's going to get better. He might not be great the rest of the year, but he'll be worth having on the roster.

Reds
05-30-2010, 02:44 AM
with all due respect to masset if the other team is batting over .300 you either need to fix it quick or you'll find yourself playing in Louisville.
