Apparently Guatemala gets sinkholes alot. Although that's "only" 200 ft deep the nickname sure fits imo. Right now, it's unknown how many, for sure, died in the sinkhole.

Wow, that is scary. It's hard to imagine earth could just go like that.

Yeah a three story building fell into this hole and yet no trace remains of it. Scary!

It's so perfectly round, it looks like a construction site.
It reminds me of round holes that are formed from trees that were covered over by moving lava. The lava cools and the tree stump disappears leaving a hole that lasts millions of years. I've crawled through some of them. Looked up at some of them from underneath, and looked down on them.

That is absolutely terrifying. I saw this posted elsewhere and thought it was photoshopped.
