One thing about that Gallaraga play, he just smiled and laughed off the call. He was standing right next to Joyce when he made it, and all he did was laugh and walk back to the mound. Now that's poise.

Frankly, what happened is even more historic.... By the way, Galarraga just said on ESPN that its OK because he understands that nobody is perfect....that's so awesome it's historically awesome...

When Bailey comes back, Lecure should stay as long reliever.

Ondrusek goes back down.

Owings pitches more often in middle relief.

Lecure is a battler and is reasonably effective. Good long relief type.

Dusty clearly does not understand leverage. That was a crucial batter for the outcome of this game and he went to the guy who just got called up. If there's a time for a light's out middle reliever, that's it.

Not to say it was a bad job by Ondrusek -- I fault the decision making process on its own merits regardless of the outcome.

Since DRH is a lefty, GB-inducing specialist throwing against a lefty with bases loaded and 1 out, I'd say it was an epic failure for DRH to allow a sac fly in that situation.
