Pawtucket @ Louisville

Matt Klinker 0-1 - 6.00 v Kris Johnson 3-3 - 3.83

No lineups yet.

I'll be at the game again for Klinker's 2nd start back in AAA.
I expect better things than I saw the 1st start.

And although he's not starting tonight, I wanted to be first to mention Pawsox righty Boof Bonser. One of the best baseball names in a long time. :)

The Mudcats continue to struggle to find solid and consistent starting pitching.

JaxRed, do you get out to many games there?

At a glance, looks like the Mudcats have one more trip to Jax this year.

For those that never seen Fairel, think Chris Hammond. Pitches just like him

He played in the Olympics iIrc. It should be interesting to see how he develops.

Good game for the Bats tonight. An 8-4 win.

I didn't notice it the first game up for Klinker but his delivery seems a little different. It looks like he's not getting full extension of his drive. Was working around 89 in the 1st but touched 92. Not lights out but effective.

Frazier looked absolutely awful. His timing is all over the place. And then he connected for a LD HR.

Denove is consistently driving the ball. Cozart and Terrero were looking good too.

Burton was giving up a lot of long fly balls in the 8th but settled down for the 9th.

C-golf was talking about Ronald Torreyes, a 17-year-old third baseman for the VSL Reds. He's a 150-pound leadoff guy, and at the moment, after 15 games, he leads the VSL in stolen bases (6), while hovering very near the top--basically a good game away from the lead--in batting average (.385), OBP (.484), hits and total bases.
