Just because it's so....well....Lohan's bail doubled...

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. AP) — A judge on Tuesday doubled Lindsay Lohan's bail to $200,000 after finding the actress violated the terms of her release with an adverse report by an alcohol ankle monitor.

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Marsha Revel determined Lohan was in violation after a closed-door meeting with the actress' attorney and a prosecutor. Revel did not detail the violation, but said her decision was made after receiving "results" issued by a court-ordered alcohol monitor.

Can't help but feel a couple things on this. One being that the legal system for people such as Lohan is different than the one you or I would deal with, and oddly the second feeling is that it is an absolute shame that the system is such a joke because that girl obviously needs help and she just won't get it without court intervention which just isn't happening. Those around her obviously aren't helping in any way and in many ways just enabling. Same could be said with the courts.
