He has some really bad days at the plate. He's still learning, but he's better than he was last year. Suppose that's all that matters. And, unlike Austin Kearns, he's not an injury waiting to happen.

And he is not striking out quite as much as last year. That bunt though was terrible though.

Great and I bench 495. Has nothing to do with this forum or what you said. Dusty sucks at pitching management. No secret. Yes the bullpen sucks. But Letting Harang go 115 pitches because hes your guy and pitching with the bases loaded in that situation is STUPID no matter how bad the bullpen is.

More times than not that ends badly. So Dave was not wrong.

And then Dusty will complain that Cordero is being used too often. LOL.
It's a four-run lead and Janish hasn't been in a big league game since May 30. Dusty should have gotten Janish an at-bat here and let him play some defense, but he didn't. Dusty is a piss-poor manager.

Kingspoint
06-09-2010, 09:49 PM
If Baker truly thinks that Cordero is so darn good, then he can bring him in after Del Rosario starts the inning. Let Del Rosario pitch until he allows two base-runners. That way, the tying run still isn't up to the plate when Cordero comes in.

So, now he's stuck with Cordero, who's into his 20th pitch already because Dusty's not taking him out for anything.
