He has pitched 9.1 innings in rehab
He has faced 34 batters. (If he hasn't thrown a doubleplay ball.)
14 have struck out.
He has walked 3.
Three have gotten a base hit.

Anyone think he is ready.

Only a few of those innings were thrown in triple A. I'd give him more time in Louisville.

Louisville stats: 4.2 innings pitched, 2 hits, 1 walk, 5 K's, 0.00 ERA. Impressive so far. Keep up the good work, Bill.

The Reds need him here ASAP. DRH is just not getting the job done as the "other" lefty in the bullpen. I would hope to see Bray, Volquez, and Chapman here soon. They couldn't be much worse than what now resides here in middle relief.

I can't wait until he replaces DRH

Always been a Bray fan, but getting people out for short spurts hasn't really been the problem. When he satisfies the FO that he can stay healthy and consistent, they will find a spot for him up here.

I like DRH, maybe he just needs to work on some things at AAA for awhile. Bring Bray up.

He will be up. They aren't going to do anything today though, they'll let whoever they send down make the plane trip home first I'd imagine. The move probably comes tomorrow and DRH goes down.

Go to the Minor League forum for a discussion of Bray...they have some very knowledgeable people there that will tell you what you need/want to know.

Let's bring him up and let Danny Rey work out his stuff in AAA for a little bit.

Goya, who's seen him in person a few times, has some comments about him over in the Minor League thread that are pertinent.

Like I always say, go to the minor league forum, there are alot of people other there that know there stuff. They will be more then happy to help you out with The Bray Situation. most people here has not watched BRAY pitch this year...unlike those who are in the minor league forum.

Bray pitched 1 inning of no-hit relief with 2 K's yesterday (Saturday, June 26th). Chapman did the same (1 IP, 0 Hits, 2 K's).
