I know Ive read or saw a video saying how the Club house manager guy refuses to give the number out. Also apparently no one has ever asked for it.

Nope. I'd be shocked to see someone in the #11.

They are probably waiting for him to get in to the Hall of Fame before they retire it.

I don't ever foresee anyone getting to wear that number again though.

I have been wondering when the city woould retire #14. It was only worn by

Oscar Robertson
Kenny Anderson

Definitely hope #11 is retired. Barry is my all time favorite baseball player by a landslide.

They can't hold an official ceremony for Rose I don't think, but that number is unofficially retired.

11 is retired in spirit. I don't think you'll see anyone wearing that on the Reds ever again. Just a matter of time before it's officially retired.

It would only make sense for the Reds to retire #11.

He was great in so many ways.

I have worn the number 11 sense the late 80's on every team I played on because of Berry Larkin it should have already been done

how long do you think it will take the Reds to "officially" retire it? will it be this decade?
