Was surprised to see this article on the Tribune's website today. I know they kick off their series with the Reds today, but normally they don't have a lot of positive sports coverage concerning non-Chicago teams. I think they may have officially given up on the Cubs.

Jocketty is open to dealing for an impact arm but will probably only add bench parts in July, due to both limited resources first-round draft pick Yasmani Grandal, a switch-hitting catcher from the University of Miami will be an expensive signing and the lack of urgency.

My expectations all along. We'll see soon.

wow, for a news paper who has been questionable for a long time....that is a really classy article. I wish I could say something good about the Cubs.....But I can't because there really is nothing there :D
