That's what happen when you act like an elitist jerk.

Byrnes was a terrible GM IMO and Hinch was his puppet. Big story.

Word is Byrnes is out the door too.
Wonder what this means as far as wheelin' and dealin'?

Sounds like a job for Bob Boone.

What about a preemptive look at Brandon Webb?

Let him know 2010 he would get a chance to work out of the pen and get back into it and be on the short list for replacements in case we need to shut down one of the young guys.

Work a small (years wise) extension in and give him a full shot at the rotation in 2011 as Harang is almost assuredly gone and maybe Arroyo to.

Firesale is a coming...

Other than Montero, Upton, Kennedy, Young, Reynolds, Parra and Abreu that team is for sale...

Get Heilman, Haren and Drew for a Harang, Bailey, Valakia, Heisey, Valiquette, Alonso package, send them Harang's buyout and call it a Division Championship.

Too bad Montero would be a nice addition in place of Ramon. Of course the Reds wouldn't likely move Ramon at this point in the season anyway.

Byrnes went from savior to scapegoat pretty fast, but disorganization and terrible play will do that. Talent wise they're better off then they were before he came in, but they're still a mess.
