I predict Stubbs hits 3 HR's and has 5 RBI's and Reds take 3 of 4 from the Scrubs!

There. I fixed that for ya...

Stubbs would be genuinely frightening if he made more contact. He has fantastic power to all fields and the speed to beat out any ball on the infield.

He stinks! Bench him!

I can guarantee a sentence from a Stubbs naysayer will at some point in the future begin with "well if you take out that game in Chicago..."

Phillips robbed by a great snag from Byrd. 3 down. But we play a bit more add on. 14-3 heading to the bottom of the ninth.

I feel bad for Marlon Byrd. He doesn't seem like a "Cub" (aka, he's not easy to hate)

I think he's the only one still trying on that team

Perfect game by the bullpen.

Pitching the 7th, 8th, and 9th the last 3 days....the relievers did not give up a hit in any of those 8 innings. (only pitched 7/8 yesterday)

Smith gave up 3 in the 6th yesterday....but you get the idea.

So I was at the pool this afternoon trying to cool off after the Votto diss with the All Star selections, and after finding out that we were up 5-3 thanks to the nice people who had the radio on, I check the score later on to find out the score was 13-3 and WITHOUT both Scott and Joey. I would have never guessed that today! Good job boys!! :D

Great job by the guys (Stubbs hit 3 HRs?!)and I love how Janish was hitting in Joey's spot and actually hitting like him today, LOL  (BTW-Saw Joey get thrown out of the game and knew it was mainly because of the helmut thing. You'll always get thrown out when you throw your helmut. Guess the frustration from the All Star snub spilled over into the game today. I'm sure he'll be fine tomorrow and I wouldn't be surprised if he apologized to Dusty and the team all ready.)

BTW-This is the third year in a row that the Reds have had a player hit 3 HRs against the Cubs! It was Joey back in 2008, Jonny did it last year, and now Drew did it this year. Pretty cool! :jump:
