I know it has been noted before, but throw out the few AB's that Matthews has and looking at that line up.... never would have guessed all the averages would be as low as they are as a group.

Where did you here this? He would be starting on three days rest, does this mean Maloney, who is listed as tomorrows starter in the game notes, has been called up to start in place of harang tomorrow?

Klinker started on the 2nd against Durham. Tomorrow night would be a squeeze for him for sure.

I believe Maloney started in the 1st.

Hillcats Bench-clearing brawl at City Stadium after Nick Christiani hits Ozzie Lewis with the bases loaded.

Anyone else having problems with MILB and the scores? Some reason it is not really giving me updated information.

Also anyone know is Yorman playing tonight for Billings?

Here's an interesting case. Cesar Caceres started and pitched six scoreless innings today for the DSL Reds, running his record to 3-1 in a 3-1 victory. His line: 6 IP, 4 H, 0 R, 2 BB, 7 K. He now has a 1.33 ERA. His line for the season: 27 IP, 18 H, 4 ER, 8 BB, 25 K. Since Caceres will be 22 years old next month, you'd think he might be in Billings by now.

However, check out his line last year for the DSL Reds: 26 IP, 30 H, 19 ER, 27 BB, 28 K, 6.58 ERA. That's just over a walk an inning.

For some guys, a year can make a profound difference.

Agree. As a backup possibility in case of injury, he makes sense, particularly since it seems Dickerson's recovery timetable continues uncertain.
