Okay I know it's a long time ago but the ultimate snub was not Votto or even Boog Powel. Over at Mlb.fanhouse.com hope I linked it right? They have a small piece on it. Back in 1935 Hank Greenberg Hall of Famer by the way was hitting .317 25 Homers and 103 rbi at the All Star break and was left off the team. Who got the nods? Two guys one named Gherig hitting .320 11 homers 50 rbi and Jimmi Foxx .313 13 homers and 50 rbi. Greenburg had more homers than the other two combined and rbi to boot and still no go. All three are Hall of famers. What an Era for baseball!

103 rbi at the break, that is impressive.

I do believe he was AL MVP that year.
