Is the validation key going slow to load for anyone else? It's like MLB is trying to slow down the votes or something, or maybe it's just me.

Where does Joey stand? Is he still in first place in the voting?

Man this sucks, it won't load the key quickly at ALL.

Oh well, with Heath Bell off the list, and the fact it's doing this for everyone with only 2 hours left, I'm guessing Votto is in pretty good shape. I'll keep chugging out as many votes as I can get across this thing though.

Yeah he's in first today at last update. It would take a massive screwjob or something for him not to get voted in now.

It seems like by their language, Votto has a pretty good lead, while it's really tight in the AL with Swisher on top again:

With fewer than seven hours remaining, Yankees outfielder Nick Swisher held the slimmest of leads over Kevin Youkilis of the rival Red Sox in a race that is shaping up to be a photo finish at today's 4 p.m. ET deadline in the 2010 All-Star Game Final Vote Sponsored by Sprint.

Joey Votto, meanwhile, continues to lead in his bid to win wire-to-wire in the National League race. But keep an eye on Rockies outfielder Carlos Gonzalez, who has made a charge past Braves closer Billy Wagner into third place.

The two Final Vote winners, one from each league, will be announced live on MLB.com and MLB Network at 6 p.m. ET. Those two players will take the 34th and final roster spots for the 81st All-Star Game on Tuesday in Anaheim.

After multiple lead changes, including three in the past 24 hours alone, Swisher and Youkilis continued to be locked in a virtual tie for the American League's top spot. Paul Konerko of the White Sox remained in third place and is followed by Michael Young of the Rangers and Delmon Young of the Twins -- both of whom homered on Wednesday.

Votto is followed in the NL standings by Ryan Zimmerman of the Nationals, Gonzalez and Wagner. Padres reliever Heath Bell was removed from the NL ballot on Wednesday after he was named to the All-Star team as a replacement for Yovani Gallardo of the Brewers, so it's a four-team field.

What I did is open up 2 voting windows side by side, submit one and click vote again, then go over to the other window and repeat the process while the key loads on the first one loads.

Yea I think I was averaging 6 per minute when I counted it. I easily could have put in 300 in the last hour.
