Joey Votto 1b

Jonny Gomes lf
Jay Bruce rf
Drew Stubbs cf
Ryan Hanigan c

A day or two off might just do Orlando Cabrera some good.

Can't understand why Dusty has to start him almost everyday.

_Sir_Charles_

You would think he'd noticed that it's worked wonders (even if only shortly lasting wonders) for Bruce, Stubbs, Rolen and now Gomes this season. Give the guy the last 2 games of the series off...then he's got a nice long break due to the ASB.

Redsfan320

Fay messed up, Rolen never was in the lineup, he's still out. So much for the starting 8 back together again. Here's the real lineup:

Brandon Phillips 2b
Orlando Cabrera ss
Joey Votto 1b
Jonny Gomes lf
Jay Bruce rf
Miguel Cairo 3b
Drew Stubbs cf
Ryan Hanigan c
Travis Wood p

vs. Roy Halladay.

Well that sucks. :(

Redsfan320
07-10-2010, 05:22 PM
Not entirely sure it was Fay that messed up, he said "the wrong lineup got posted," which I took to mean that he posted the wrong lineup, but he could have just been copying an already incorrect lineup that the Reds posted. Not that it matters much, just clarifying that I'm not sure it wasn't Fay's mess-up.

If Rolen's not playing today I'd just give him tomorrow off, have him sit the AS game out(he's been there before)and get a good break going into the second half. He's soooooooooo important to this clubs success and his back is a big concern.

Can Janish request a trade? Can I do it on his behalf. I feel sorry for the kid. He's twice the player Cabrera is right now. I'm going to enjoy watching Cabrera continue his slide towards a sub .600 OPS in the 2 hole and wonder why the media doesn't question Dusty about it.
