As an honorary coach or some type of recognition for his contribution to the game?

I haven't heard anything.

He's retired, the game is in LA, chances are he will ignore it.

Just like I do.

I forget who said it, but at the time of his retirement, someone in the game said something to the effect of "he will only go to his induction in Cooperstown because he has to."

And anything North of Santa Barbara is Oregon to this SoCal guy. ;) No offense to Oregon.

Just like I do.And me too. I plan to play golf tomorrow evening, go out to dinner, and watch the Food Channel. Sorry, but I hate the AS game.

I have ignored it for the past ten years, but since there are four Reds on the team, I will DVR it, watch their pregame introductions, and then fast forward to the parts where I see a guy wearing a Reds uniform.
