Should Jocketty Use John Hart Model?

With the Reds more loaded with young talent than they have been in years, should Walt let the high priced talent leave at the end of the year such as harang, Arroyo, maybe trade Coordero and use that capitol to lock up the young talent past there arbitration years. John Hart did this with the Indians in the 90s with great success. He would sign a second or third year player to a 4 year deal that would pay him more early one but postpone the arbitration years one or two years.

As much as I want to see Arroyo stick around I think this is the direction the team is headed. He and Harang are likely long gone as the team relies on young arms and bats that are locked up long-term.
